Why do women account for 90% of all plastic surgery procedures? Why are men more violent than women? Why does society spend $50 billion a year on cosmetics? If we all have two eyes, a nose and a mouth, just arranged differently, then who determines what is beautiful? Why is society obsessed with celebrity? Why is the male suicide rate 4 times higher than that for women?
WHY? - A book and exhibition (work in progress) that uses simple, thought provoking photographs and questions that aim to bring about awareness of topics ranging from sexism, racism, bigotry, war, poverty, beauty and fame.
